Curious about food, fairness and community?
Join our 10-week food and community project for 11–14 year olds in Tulse Hill. Through cooking, creativity and shared experiences, young people will explore what “good food” really means, how food shapes our communities, and how to share messages in thoughtful, impactful ways.
With food insecurity rising across London – and many families locally feeling the pressure of food costs – this project creates a positive, practical space for young people to learn, cook together, and think about food, fairness and community in ways that feel hopeful and empowering.
Everyone Deserves a Full Plate is a hands-on programme where young people cook together, learn about affordable nutritious food, explore why access to food isn’t equal for everyone and how this can be challenged.
Alongside practical cooking, the group will also learn how to raise awareness and share ideas with the community creatively, building confidence and communication skills along the way.
