Our free 10-week creative project for 11–18 year-olds explores how ideas become brands and how young people protect their creativity in a digital world. Run in partnership with W3 Group, the project offers real-world insight beyond the classroom.

What’s the project?

Build a Brand helps you understand how creative ideas move from concept to reality in today’s world. You’ll explore branding, digital creation and ownership, and see how creativity, technology and value connect – and what that means for you as a young digital creator.

What you’ll do

  • Come up with your own brand idea and shape how it looks and feels
  • Design visuals and graphics using creative digital tools
  • Use AI to generate ideas and create sounds to help shape your brand
  • Learn how people make money from creative work online
  • Explore how digital work can be owned, protected and shared
  • Learn practical skills like marketing, pricing and understanding value
  • Work with creative professionals including designers and music producers
  • Create a printed garment and a sound that brings your brand to life
