South London Rising is a chance for young people aged 13-18 to talk about what life really feels like right now -on the streets and in communities.
You’ll explore what you love about South London, what needs to change and how young people can help shape its future.

What’s happening?
Throughout the day, you’ll be able to choose from creative and interactive activities, including:
- Art, poetry and spoken word as expressions of change
- Workshops exploring South London, identity and change
- Live performances
- Conversations with inspiring young changemakers
- Opportunities to share your own ideas and experiences
Together, you’ll help create a bold public display capturing what young people love about South London, the challenges your generation faces and your ideas for making it better.
You don’t need to be confident, know anyone there or have anything prepared. Come as you are and take part in whatever way feels right for you.
Your voice matters
South London has a long history of creativity, community and people coming together to create change. South London Rising is about recognising the strengths young people already have and giving you space to be heard, meet others and turn your ideas into something visible.
